Generally, a pretty good experience. I'm not rating 5 stars because I wish they had a better network of partner imaging centers to choose from. Additionally, although you compensate radiology assist, they didn't help me with getting the imaging... center to actually send me the report of the MRI, so I was at the mercy of the imaging center. Not a big deal, but I think that the entity whom you're paying should be responsible for making sure that all services are completed and provided.Otherwise the process was very smooth and straightforward. Customer service was pleasant and helpful, other than maybe the last person I spoke with. They were easy to reach, did not have long wait times.I got a doctor through their network to write an MRI referral, and she did so without even having to call me, based on the details I provided. This is geographically dependent but I might not use them again (DC area) until they get better partners in their network. Other areas might be completely fine.read more

At first, the price quoted seemed too good to be true. I did some research including calling the facility that would be accepting the voucher to verify that it was legitimate and there would be no up charges.I was pleased to find out that there was... no catch. I got my MRI and disc at the facility and left with a big grin on my face.I would recommend RadiologyAssist to anyone having to self pay for radiological procedures. It is easy and the quotes are firm. No hidden charges or fees.read more

It was easy and painless! Any questions were answered so fast! No hidden fees! The location I went to had me out in 20 minutes or less & provided me the digital copy I asked for. They also faxed results first thing the next day my doc had it before... I got there at 9:30. I was hesitant about paying when I scheduled but I was able to have it done 2 days later no problem. Might I add $137 for a CT is unmatchable! It was worth the 2 hr drive!read more

Radiology Assist on the phone and though emails/ texts was very helpful with the process providing prices, locations, very patient with my questions. The website is good and easy to navigate, though locations need to be updated. The facility I went... to was clean, pleasant, hassle free. I would remind others to bring ID along with the certificate RA provides. Importantly either call facility, speak to your healthcare provider for directions what to do before and after, for instance often after contrast it is recommended you drink water. I highly recommend Radiology Assist to others based on my experience. It was a huge savings and an easy process without problems.read more

It was great using them. Found me a place to get an MRI very reasonable in my area. The location was clean and quick. I am very satisfied. The only thing I will say is I did not get to pick the day and time of my appointment. It worked out for me... though as the date and time we're good with my schedule. I highly recommend if you are looking for someplace affordable. Also, they have a low income grant program. I did not personally use this (although I qualify) because I had the money on hand but if I ever need to, I know it's there and it's a big help.read more

A wonderful resource and service for the uninsured. I'm incredibly grateful for their help. If you need affordable scans, this company is real and will really help you. I did an enormous amount of research into finding assistance for being in that... tough spot - not living in poverty, yet not able to afford the current insurance rates. It seemed like there was no hope of finding affordable rates, but I stumbled upon RadiologyAssist and it actually provided affordable rates with no side effects - no hidden costs or bills later. They just offer affordable rates if you don't have insurance. It's comforting to know that help is out there and that this service exists. I can't thank them enough.read more

My so-called health insurance would not cover the $1600 for a CT scan at an in-network facility because I still had not met my annual deductible ($5k). I checked around and found Radiology Assist and was able to have the CT scan done for $257 at a... facility about 1 hour from home. Highly recommended!read more

I’m was so thrilled to find this service in the internet. I’m furloughed right now and going through my insurance would have cost me over $2500 for an MRI and X-ray. Instead I filled out the information on a Friday afternoon, received a call on... Monday and my appointment was Wednesday. The employees at the location they referred me to were also so pleasant, happy and conversational at a time with so many unknowns! Thank you Radiology Assist!read more

Radiology Assist was able to get me an MRI at a price that was only 10% of the cost the hospital wanted to charge. The facility was great and I am very happy with the service they provided. I would recommend this service to anyone who needs an MRI... and can’t afford expensive hospital services.read more

The idea of having to do MRI, CT or other scans out side the conventional big health care facilities/ hospitals by it self is incredible. My spouse went to an emergency in one of the biggest hospitals in Dallas due to a hernia. They did a urine... analysis and CT scan and just for those experiments, they sent her a staggering $17,000 bill. And because she does not have a health insurance, she was not able to do the surgery at the hospital. She did a surgery at a private doctor, and as a pretext for that surgery, she had to do a CT Scan at the Radiology Assist with more courtesy from the staff and a cheaper price relatively to the bills you are going to get from the big health facilities around the area. So I really commend their ideas for creating the firm, their price and their courtesy of staff.read more

They were incredibly professional and took extreme care in maintaining safe distances and cleanliness. My appointment was right on time! No long wait! I felt like they valued my time as much as their own. The cost was so low compared to what other... facilities charge and insurance pays, especially for someone who has no insurance and must bear the cost of two MRIs out of pocket. I highly recommend them!read more

The Radiology Assist program allowed me to receive a CT (Computerized Tomography) scan that detects artery plaque ( a cause of stroke and heart attack), in addition the service includes a written diogenous report. My insurance does not cover this... service, however my out of pocket expense was only $134.70. The facility that performed my scan is located in North East Philadelphia. I found the staff to be personal and professional, the technician is highly experienced and well versed on the procedure and the equipment.read more

I have insurance with a high deductible. Using Radiology Assist saved me more than half of what I would have paid for an MRI had I used my insurance, and right now, minimizing my costs, was more important than having it go to my deductible. The... center where I had my MRI was easy to find, I arrived early to do paperwork and they were able to get me in early for the procedure. Fast and efficient! I would recommend to anybody without insurance, or to anyone like me, who is trying to minimize my cash outlay.read more

Not only were all the staff I spoke with and communicated with patient and flexible, they carefully explained options and took care of all the necessary scheduling and confirmations. When I made a mistake with the online forms they resolved my... mistakes with an understanding attitude. The imaging lab I was scheduled at did a great job and everyone there was great. I just had to show up and all the necessary payment confirmation and details were already in their system. I recommend trying this service first and feel free to pick up the phone and ask questions with the staff, they really are there to help you find the test you need quick.read more

The ability to get your own medical exam and results is invaluable and Radiology Assist makes this available. The process to get this done is unfortunately difficult to understand. Its like an online waiting room. I had to call several times to find... out how to get my appointment once I had a referral Which did not happen in the advertised time frame. While on the phone they found and processed my appointment. That went well. Then how do I get my results??? No email, no contact, so I called and was told I needed to instead call the radiology clinic. What? No clear instructions on how to proceed. That is as important as the ads about the service. Yes it worked but was like sitting in the waiting room wondering when you get to actually see the doctor after talking to several other assistants. I got my results, that is good. and the price was reasonable.read more

SimonMed Imagining in Parker, Colorado -- Beautiful facility, excellent staff. Radiologist courteous and excellent at explaining process and giving instructions for best results. All in all an excellent experience and at a significantly lower cost... than the same procedure would have cost with the specialist group with whom I was working. I highly recommend this facility.read more

Because of our daughter's injury, we needed an MRI as soon as possible. We also have no insurance. RadiologyAssist was able to get us an appointment within days, and the price was so much better than other facilities. The day of the MRI, the... technician and receptionist were friendly and helpful. We were the first ones in the office, and was finished in about an hour.read more

Radiology Assist is an actual miracle. I thought it might be a scam, because the discounted rate seemed too good to be true. I called the imaging center they recommended, who vouched for the program. So, I sent my info online and within 6 hours I... had an appointment for an MRI. It cost $275 instead of almost $2000. My insurance is pretty low coverage, and with a high deductible I paid out of pocket. This very heavy discount really made this MRI possible, and I am grateful.read more

Highly recommended. The price quoted on the web site was exactly what I paid. No need to chase quotes from multiple providers who otherwise won't disclose their pricing. I was given an appointment the next day with a reputable diagnostics company... only two blocks away from my office. No quibbles about pricing or payment at the center, I simply had to present my ID and everything was taken care of. The total cost was $100's less than I'd otherwise been quoted, including by my insurer. I'd happily recommend and return to Radiology Assist whom I consider a valuable service disruptor that should exist across all areas of the US health care industry.read more
